Project Billenet is co-ordinating the co-operation of schools, youth and family institutions, clubs, companies and district culture in Horn, Billstedt und Mümmelmannsberg districts.
The objectives of this networking are to connect existing education programmes and to develop new programmes collectively. The focus is on vocational training and qualification of young people. Yet, qualification for senior citizens and projects for children and families are initiated by Billenet as well. Since its launch more than ten years ago, Billenet has created substantial foundations for the development of a community-based education structure. They have been included into the Community Framework Concept Education and Life-long Learning in co-operation with District Office Hamburg-Mitte.
