The team of Ahoi Hamburg organizes intercultural encounters for young people from all over the world. Traditionally, our focus is on german-french, german-polish, and german-czech youth exchanges. But we have also initiated and accompanied numerous projects with many other countries as an experienced partner organization in international youth education and work.
An important note: Due to high demand and reduced staff capacity, we will unfortunately not be able to accept new requests until 01.07.2024.
We are looking forward to welcoming more participants in Hamburg next year!
Professional qualification in Hamburg
Those who come to Hamburg via our international network will be personally looked after on site by the 
Hamburg Ahoi team.
Thanks to our broad network of Hamburg-based companies and institutions, we can arrange targeted internships in all sectors. We support the participants around their stay in Hamburg and take over a variety of organizational tasks.

International exchange for professionals
We bring together professionals and multipliers from all over the world and create a forum for international exchange. Through job shadowing and delegate trips, participants gain insight into different education systems, training programs, and the concepts of international education and vocational training.
Through the participation in an international qualification

- Democracy experienced and
- Solidarity anchored.
Arbeit und Leben Hamburg e. V. issues all participants a “Certificate of Intercultural Competencies“ , which certifies participation and individual commitment to one of our international projects.
